Inspiring innovation-session at METIP

On Wednesday, 3 June 2026, we had the pleasure of visiting METIP for the first AYOP Innovation Session of the year. It was an inspiring afternoon featuring real-world innovation cases from two AYOP members, as well as our host and partner, METIP.

Stefan Hoffmanns of Gemba Service BV and Danny Stolk of Smart AIS (a sister company of KH Engineering) shared how they are leveraging technologies such as AI, sensors, and drones to improve asset management. By combining skilled professionals with innovative technologies, issues can be identified, resolved, and even prevented more efficiently.

It was inspiring to see how these solutions are helping shape the future of our industry. A big thank you to METIP for their hospitality and for providing such an innovative setting for this event.
