Successfull AYOP Annual General Meeting and Herring Party

On 18 June, AYOP held its Annual General Meeting (AGM) at Zeehaven IJmuiden N.V.. During the meeting, Chairman Peter van de Meerakker and Managing Director Dionne Ruurda reflected on the achievements and milestones of 2025 and presented AYOP’s plans and ambitions for 2026.

The AGM provided members with the opportunity to ask questions, share feedback, and discuss the future development of the AYOP network and the sector.

Following the meeting, many members joined the traditional Herring Party organized by OV IJmond. With views over the Fishing Harbour, attendees celebrated the arrival of the Dutch New Herring while enjoying valuable networking opportunities in an informal setting.

AYOP looks back on a successful afternoon focused on collaboration, connection, and strengthening relationships within the maritime, offshore, and energy sectors.
