Vattenfall – introductory meeting
Together with NWEA we organised an exclusive yet informal member meeting on Thursday 26 September at which Vattenfall presented itself as a potential future partner for the Dutch wind power sector, the region and regional businesses.
Earlier this summer, it was announced that the license for building the Hollandse Kust Zuid III and IV sites in the North Sea has been awarded to Vattenfall. After also winning the tenders for lots I and II of the Hollande Kust Zuid zone, this means Vattenfall is building one of the world’s largest wind energy farms. The new site will be the fourth of five wind energy projects on the North Sea due to be operational by 2023.
At the meeting Vattenfall discussed topics such as the set-up, planning and timing of the project. This offers you a preliminary insight into the anticipated demand of certain products and services, as well as into relevant contacts and supply conditions.
