Members Meet Members at Facta in Uitgeest

On Tuesday, February 25, over 40 members visited Facta in Uitgeest. After an AYOP update from Dionne, we were introduced to new members Viro and Special Cargo Services in a 1-minute pitch. Then, as part of the ‘Circular Economy’ theme, we were given a presentation by Business in Wind on the dismantling and processing of wind turbines, which was listened to with great interest.

After the presentations, the hosts of Facta took us in groups for a tour of the workshops where everything revolves around rotating parts. From the place where gearboxes are overhauled to the room where, as one of the only places in the Netherlands, electric motors are still wound by hand.
