Facta Rotating joins AYOP network
Do you have a question about rotating parts? Then turn to new AYOP member Facta Rotating. The company began winding electric motors in 1958 and has since grown into a national player with extensive services in the field of maintenance, supply, monitoring, management and preservation of rotating equipment. These include electrically driven systems such as pumps, electric motors, generators, fans, gearboxes, geared motors, turbines and compressors.
Keeping the world turning
Facta Rotating has 9 workshops in the Netherlands and also offers on-site service and maintenance for motors, drives, pumps and related components. This includes disassembly for maintenance or repair in one of the workshops. “Our customers are operational 24/7 and cannot afford downtime. Our entire service is aimed at keeping production running uninterrupted. That is why we are available to them day and night, seven days a week,” says Mitch Zonneveld, Team Leader Sales at Facta Rotating. “In addition, we have a Machine Diagnosis Group, specialized in Predictive Maintenance. Our specialists monitor the condition of the equipment so that maintenance can be scheduled in a timely manner. We do this both offline on location, and online 24/7 in the Cloud with remote sensors. In this way, we minimize the risk of unexpected failures that can shut down operations. If this does happen, we have a conditioned spare parts management program to resolve breakdowns as efficiently as possible so that production can resume as soon as possible. Keeping businesses running is what we do.”
The opportunities of the energy transition
Mitch sees plenty of opportunities for Facta Rotating in the future, particularly in the area of energy transition: “Grid congestion and rising energy tariffs are increasing the pressure on factories to be smarter about energy. Drive systems account for over 70% of industrial energy consumption. This is why we work with customers to optimize plants in terms of energy consumption, maintenance and life extension. Many drive systems are outdated; with new technology and common sense, there is much to gain. Both in terms of cost savings and maintenance and CO2 reduction.”
In addition, the rise of renewable energy also offers opportunities: “We already maintain compressors, the hydrogen transition opens up new possibilities. We can also maintain equipment for hydrogen production. It is important that we prepare our mechanics for this now, so that we can be future-proof.
Involved in the future of the ports
“With our membership in AYOP, we want to further expand our regional network. We want to be involved in the developments and future of the seaports and the port of Amsterdam, so that we can anticipate and operate in a future-proof manner,” said Mitch Zonneveld.
AYOP director Dionne Ruurda says about the new addition to our network: “With Facta Rotating, we have an experienced organization in the field of rotating parts. Especially in these times when the pressure on companies to work more energy-efficiently is increasing, it is important to also bring this knowledge into our network. We are therefore pleased to welcome Facta.”
