A water and fire spectacle during the MMM meeting by FMTC & GBA

On Thursday, October 30th, we were guests at FMTC Safety, along with 35 representatives of AYOP-members. Together with the Gezamenlijke Brandweer Amsterdam (GBA), they organized a spectacular Members-Meet-Members meeting, entirely focused on safety. FMTC recently launched a new look, which also includes a new slogan: “I Am Secured.” And that is exactly how we felt yesterday.

During the formal part, Frank Sneekes of TES Verlichting gave a one-minute pitch to introduce himself and the company to the network. Edwin van Ieperen gave a presentation about the Gezamenlijke Brandweer Amsterdam. Riemert Moleman told us about the training programs offered by FMTC and then gave us a tour of the facilities. Through various demonstrations, we got a good idea of ​​what FMTC and the GBA have to offer.

What made it even more interesting was that several members were able to put their new knowledge into practice. Eight daredevils participated in a HUET (Helicopter Underwater Escape Training). They all passed with flying colors, at least for us!

After this spectacular event, it was time for networking, while enjoying snacks and drinks provided by FMTC. It was another successful and informative event!
