Techport Technology Week

The annual Techport Technology Week takes place in the first week of October. Techport organizes various activities together with AYOP, among others, so that children from groups 7 and 8 can experience and discover what working in the offshore entails.

There is a major shortage of technicians in the IJmond region, where the manufacturing and maintenance industry is large. Techport and AYOP believe it is important to introduce children to technology at an early age and at several points in their school career. By making them enthusiastic and showing that working in technology is very diverse, more children will hopefully choose to study technology.
