Members Meet Members at FMTC: Safety in Practice

The upcoming edition of Members Meet Members will take place at FMTC Safety in Badhoevedorp and will be fully dedicated to the theme of safety – a topic that is at the core of daily operations within the offshore, energy, and maritime sectors.

FMTC Safety specializes in realistic safety training for professionals working in high-risk environments. During this event, AYOP members will get an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the advanced training facilities. Here, scenarios such as onboard fires, offshore evacuations, helicopter safety, and rescue operations are simulated to optimally prepare participants for emergencies at sea, in the air, and on land.

The Amsterdam Fire Department will also be present and will give an in-depth presentation on fire prevention, incident response, and cooperation with companies in the region. The session will address current challenges, real-life examples, and the importance of thorough preparation and training.

In addition to the content-driven program, the event offers plenty of opportunities for networking and knowledge exchange. It is the perfect occasion for AYOP members to engage in discussions on safety issues, share experiences, and discover how safety is put into practice across different fields.
